Overview

Volcanic mountain, site of the ritual and battle that gives the saga its name. The seam between the Northern Region and the Dunwick Territories — not centered, not on the edge. Visibly scarred and ash-darkened terrain immediately around it, fading to normal terrain further out.

Site of the Battle of Ashfall, where Bran, Jake, and Elora die and only Alden and Carter survive. Later the site of the endgame confrontation between the player, Garrick, and the Horror, and where the Horror takes Lucy Thatcher as its host.
