Overview
Wielder of Fury, a pistol. History remembers him as "wielder of Fury"; friends knew him as the group's clown, joking constantly because he's spent his life controlling his anger — when he stops joking, something is seriously wrong.
Fury represents what he controls, not what he unleashes. In Road, learns patience, restraint, and control. Came to Dunwick seeking opportunity. Dies at Ashfall.
Bond with Alden: "My gun is for killing. And none of them needed to die." Mother: Sadie Walker, who gave him the (initially unloaded) revolver to teach him to control his temper before he could control the weapon. Father: Glenn Walker, who abandoned the family when Jake was ten — the origin of Jake's temper.
